Carter's Corner: February 2006

November, 2005-February, 2006

The last four months have been busy, as we finally moved into our new home! We celebrated Christmas & New Year's back in Toronto. What a joy to be able to celebrate our Saviour's birth together with good friends and family. Carter continues to try new things everyday; he is a baseball player in the making, throwing his toys at great distances out of his playyard. He loves to experiment with standing handsfree, and crawls at a superfast speed now. He enjoys eating with his fingers and especially likes to try whatever Dad and Mom are eating, as opposed to his own babyfood. His vocabulary includes repeating "All done" (and he says it at meals, after every prayer!), "Up" (when he's dumped a toy on the ground and wants us to pick it up), "Otay" (okay), and "upel" (which we think may be apple?). He will wave bye-bye, and raise his hand in the air, as if he's getting ready to answer a question (hmm, a scholar in the making?). We are looking forward to getting ready to celebrate his first birthday. Praise God for a crazy but eventful past year. It's been amazing watching our little boy grow!
